Costa Rica

Costa Rica felt like a week spent in tropical paradise. We saw such an array of landscapes, all of them rich in color. Volcanoes, jungles, and beaches all in one week!

We flew into San Jose and spent the first few days in the Arenal region. Arenal is the most prominent volcano (although there are others nearby) and was visible most of the time as we drove around.

The second half of the week was spent on the Nicoya Pennisula at Santa Teresa Beach. This was one of the best beaches I have ever been to and would highly recommend visiting this area if planning a trip to Costa Rica.
